Aqua Mix® Sealer’s Choice® Gold PFAS-Free

Aqua Mix Sealer’s Choice Gold PFAS-Free is a premium, water-based penetrating sealer formulated to provide maximum stain protection while maintaining the natural, no-sheen appearance of most stone, tile and porous grout.

The PFAS-free formula allows moisture-vapor transmission and is suitable for residential and commercial interior or exterior applications. It may also be applied before grouting to help protect porous tile and stone and make grout cleanup easier.

Coverage varies according to surface type, porosity, application method and jobsite conditions.

Application instructions

1. Make sure the surface is dry, clean and free of waxes, existing sealers and finishes.
2. Allow adhesives and grout in new installations to dry for at least 48 hours before applying.
3. Shake the container thoroughly before use.
4. Apply a liberal, even coat using a paint-pad applicator, sponge, brush or airless sprayer.
5. On dense, polished or honed surfaces, lightly work the sealer into the surface using a white nylon scrub pad.
6. Allow the sealer to penetrate for up to five minutes or until it begins to dry.
7. Wipe the surface with a clean, damp microfiber towel, then buff completely dry with a second microfiber towel.
8. Apply a second coat after waiting at least 30 minutes.
9. Allow at least 30 minutes after the final dry buff before light foot traffic.
10. Keep the treated surface dry for 24 hours. Maximum stain protection develops after approximately 24 hours.

Important

Always test the product in a small, inconspicuous area before beginning the complete application. Natural stone varies in composition and porosity. Do not allow the sealer to dry on the surface, as residue or a white film may develop. This sealer does not prevent surface wear or etching caused by acids or caustic chemicals.

Wear impervious gloves and eye protection during application, use in a well-ventilated area and read the complete product label before use. Protect from freezing.
