Aqua Mix Aqua Stain – Spanish Oak is a concentrated translucent stain for porous Saltillo and adobe clay tile. It changes the tile’s color while enhancing the natural variations and texture that give handmade clay tile its character. Spanish Oak provides a deeper earth-toned appearance.

Recommended for
Saltillo and other highly porous adobe clay tile.
Application notes
Use undiluted when a stronger color change is desired, or dilute with up to 8 parts water for a lighter and more translucent result. Always establish the desired appearance on a test area before staining the full installation.
Important: Aqua Stain must penetrate the tile, so previously applied sealers or coatings need to be removed first. Follow the manufacturer’s preparation and application instructions.
Disclaimer: Slight variations in color may occur between batches of production. Manufacturer recommends mixing up all bottles of same color, prior to application to avoid possible variations. Please remember that different screens and printers will depict different shades. We recommend to use the manufacturers' color cards, as a reference.
